People are talking ...
I have finished reading ~CONVERSATIONS IN HEAVEN~ by Sue Campbell and cannot wait to have conversations with Sue about this awesome book. I loved this book and am so proud of Sue and what she has accomplished. I was so impressed and amazed with this interesting story and especially how knowledgeable her writing skills are physically, emotionally and spiritually. I recognized some familiar people ...and places mentioned in the book and,of course, when you are near Sue you are going to laugh a lot. I encourage everyone to purchase this book (E-Book online, Christian Bookstores,www. westbowpress. com). I enjoyed reading this story so much that I didn't want to to finish the last couple of chapters because I did not want it to be over.
I am one to lose interest quickly in the beginning of a book if it doesn't grab my attention. Well, with that being said, this book did! It's very well written and the specifics are educational. You can tell the writer took her time to learn about every facet of what she wrote about. There was passion and variation. Very interesting read.
"Another Leeds author hits a home run!
"Just finished page 263 already craving page 526. Lord Jesus, just take me now, but, please can I go with Sue? I love you, but you cannot have my round oak family dinner table."
Sue Campbell brings her perspective of heaven to life through the eyes of 5 newly departed characters. Her descriptions are beautifully written and quite vivid. I especially liked the diversity of her characters.
With a recent surge of books on heaven abounding now, I found this book especially easy to read and enjoyable. Though a novel, the precepts upon which its themes are based are found in scripture. This book made me look much more forward to heaven. It puts to rest the stereotypes of angels floating on clouds playing harps. As in scripture, the angels found in this book are strong, powerful large beings, not dainty little "girlie" angels. The detail the author used to describe the varying areas of heaven paint a beautiful picture of peaceful and tranquil settings which delight the earthly God-given senses we are endowed with and which will stay with us even after death. The joy with which the main characters greet their loved ones was experiential as was their delight and humility at the access to Jesus and the Father they were given. The back stories were varied and helped provide a view into the many ways the Father is always working to reconcile us to Him. I look forward to the sequel to this book to experience the joy and beauty of more interaction with the Father.
Sue, I can't say enough about your book. I have been telling everybody about it. I am not completely through wit it but your vision of heaven is just great. I love Wisdom, it's just like you know he has been with you all along and my favorite person whose story I like the most is the Taliban, Rashid. I guess the way he learned about the Lord in captivity. It’s just a great book. I will talk again when I finish. I read it every morning after my devotion and it keeps me excited all day until I get to the next reading and
"Conversations In Heaven is a well written book that should appeal to devoted Christian women and men who have lost a loved one. The author did a fine job of describing what happens when we leave this life.Constant references to the Bible bring a stunning reality to the book's main theme. I would highly recommend this book.
"Conversations in Heaven" is a riveting depiction of death and heaven experienced by a small, diverse group of twenty first century Christians. The author paints a stunning mental picture as she describes people and places in magnificent detail transporting the reader on an incredible journey to the other side. Surely this book must have been inspired by God ! I cannot wait for the sequel.
"Great book and inspirational read! Awesome author!
As an avid reader of both secular and Christian books, I can say that I have not in years had any other novel impress me as much as “Conversations in Heaven.” The author beautifully weaves a story around five people who have died, and it has really opened my eyes to what Heaven can be. I would laugh one minute, and cry the next. Nothing has quite touched me since reading “The Shack” in its uniqueness and the way it depicts God’s promises of a heaven just for you.
"l loved this book!! Waiting on your second one!! I have recommended your book to everyone I know and especially to anyone that has lost someone recently. When Mom died this past June, I had all of these uneasy feelings but reading your book made so much sense and let me know my Mom is happy, no more dementia, I know she is happy to be home with all of her loved ones. Thank you for writing such a beautiful book. GOD is Awesome!! Love you."
